With the acquisitions of YourCause and EVERFI by Blackbaud, we are refining several of our finance and legal business processes so we can both serve our customers effectively and operate as efficiently as possible. These changes go into effect on May 15, 2023.

FAQ

Blackbaud consents to, and we are directing you to, pay your invoices to our wholly owned subsidiary, EverFi, Inc. This is permitted under your contract with Blackbaud, Inc., as our corporate enterprise includes our subsidiaries and your contract with us necessarily includes our subsidiaries. Blackbaud, Inc. agrees that your payment to EverFi, Inc. constitutes payment to Blackbaud, Inc.

If you have software subscriptions across YourCause and Blackbaud and also participate in YourCause charitable giving, then you will have three separate invoices sent with separate remittance information.

  • We do not expect changes to the YourCause experience you rely on, and no changes to the YourCause brand. We made this change to provide a simpler experience in the long-term for the many customers who purchase software and solutions from both YourCause and EVERFI
  • For your YourCause software subscription, please update the remittance and bank information. Please also add the new remittance information to your banking fraud filters if you are set up to autopay.
  • For your payment’s operations, aside from updating the address for your remittances, there are no changes for YourCause customers
The limits in place are limited to payments for software subscriptions. This cap does not apply to YourCause charitable giving via the Blackbaud Giving Fund.

Yes, you will need to resubmit your tax exemption certificate under EVERFI. This article outlines the steps to take: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/57248

If your invoice was sent before May 15, 2023, then please use the old remittance information. The updated remittance information applies to invoices sent May 15, 2023, and after.
