How We Got Here: The 6th Annual CSRworks Conference
Our vision that first year was to bring our clients together to get to know one another while we shared ideas, challenges, and (of course) best practices to build a strong CSR community. Our clients have always been the leaders in corporate social responsibility by continually expanding and improving their programs. They are persistent in asking themselves, and us, “what’s next?”
With this in mind, we knew we were in for a powerful day when we kicked off the first annual CSRworks. Nobody was disappointed. We heard from many of the thirty attendees that the conference was their favorite conference they’d attended. Period.
Over time, and at the request or our clients, CSRworks expanded into a two-day conference with over 100 participants. The first day is focused on CSR industry trends, and the second day provides “hands-on” client training and solution showcases. Our clients’ input has helped to drive our product and services development, so it’s no surprise that they also contribute during CSRworks.
We’re fortunate to have our clients, many of whom we call friends, participate in the event. The client panels, round table discussions, and general idea sharing continues to push us all forward during the conference, and all throughout the year.
