CSRworks 2018: What You Can Expect

Katie Dunlap March 13, 2018 About YourCause

We are extremely excited for another CSRworks conference. With its arrival, we’re highlighting some of the key aspects that make CSRworks the most unique, collaborative, innovative, and fun conference in comparison to others in the industry you may attend (not that we are biased, we have just attended every other conference ever held… anywhere. And ours surpasses them all.)

A presentation from CSRworks 2017 given by guest speaker, Matthew Nelson at New York Life.

CSRworks is designed to provide attendees the highest quality of industry-leading information from some special guest speakers, knowledgeable CSR experts, and YourCause Team Members. Our presenters will dive deep into the latest trends in corporate social responsibility.

Your peers will be covering topics like evaluating data, leveraging employees to create international ambassadors, and much more throughout the conference. These sessions will outline real CSR programs run by the Global Good Network and introduce innovative best practices that you can use to implement in your own programs. To see the full list of speakers and topics, check out the agenda.

CSRworks welcomes TMI Strategy’s Managing Director, Meredith Ferguson, as she highlights Gen Z in her presentation “Truth, Lies, and What They’re Really Doing on Their Smartphones”. If you are beginning to notice more and more of a Gen Z influence in your company’s culture, then this is the discussion to sit in on.

IMPACT 2030’s Interim CEO, Sue Stephenson, will lead a presentation on new strategies to incorporate the Global Goals into employee volunteering tactics and initiatives. Join her talk as she shares the importance of multi-sector impact projects to achieve the Global Goals.

Attendees broke out into smaller groups to discuss their CSR programs, what processes worked for them, and to collaborate on new ideas.

Throughout the conference, there are plenty of opportunities to get to know your industry peers, exchange ideas, and collaborate on CSR concepts that you have been working on all year. Odessa will set up some competition when she challenges our guests to her annual game of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Later in the evening, we hold a reception to end the first day of CSRworks that allows attendees to engage with one another in a relaxed atmosphere.

Relationships are important to us! CSRworks is the perfect time to sit down one-on-one with your account manger to connect and discuss all of the new information you’ve learned during breakout sessions. Be sure to schedule time during the conference with your Account Manager to plan out how this new information can be implemented in your CSR program in the coming year.

We are excited to talk high-level CSR with everyone, but we’re even more excited to share information about product innovation! Day Two will be dedicated to breakout sessions that cover specific features of our product. Our team of experts will be hands on, ready to answer any of your questions, providing best practices, and diving deep into Reporting, GrantsConnect, Advancements in International Offerings, and more. If you haven’t picked your day two sessions make sure you do!

YourCause Team Members face off in the final rounds of the Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament.

At YourCause, we keep it real. Our product is only as strong as our partnerships. Because of that, we recognize the importance of using these two days to share our plans for future product development, field your questions in real time, and listen to your feedback. We’re an open book so we can provide the best product for our partners to do the most good. Throughout CSRworks you’ll hear from our CEO, Matt Combs, and our entire executive team will be on-hand to chat and connect with each of you. Come prepared with your questions and feel free to ask anything you’d like!

We can’t wait to see everyone in just a few weeks; our team is hard at work making sure this is the best CSRworks yet. Come prepared to experience innovation, peer-to-peer collaboration, CSR-filled discussion, and a whole lot of fun like only YourCause knows how to have!
